We Create a Plan Before the Wedding
Before your wedding day, we’ll work together to put together a family photo list. This helps ensure we capture the people who matter most while keeping everything efficient.
It can be tempting to include every possible combination of relatives, but longer lists mean more time away from your guests and less time enjoying your celebration.
As a general guide:
Each family group photo takes around three minutes.
That may not sound like much, but it quickly adds up:

5 group photos = approximately 15 minutes

10 group photos = approximately 30 minutes

15 group photos = around 45 minutes
Looking at it this way makes it much easier to prioritise the photos that are genuinely important to you.

A Backup Plan for Every Forecast
Living in the North East means the weather can be unpredictable, so we always prepare for every possibility.
Together, we'll identify suitable indoor locations for family photographs should the weather take a turn. This could be a bright ceremony room, an elegant staircase, a welcoming entrance hall, or a sheltered outdoor area.
By deciding this ahead of time, there’s no scrambling for alternatives and no confusion about where everyone needs to be.
