"Choosing the right photographer was one of the most important decisions for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with Spectrum Wedding Photography. From our very first meeting, Mark put us at ease with his detailed planning. He took the time to understand our story, our style, and what moments mattered most to us.
Mark took us for an engagement shoot and we are so glad he did. We were so very nervous at first but felt at ease so very quickly, as Mark guided us through the entire process, beginning with easy natural shots, in which he simply encouraged us to be ourselves, which made us feel comfortable and gave us the confidence to try bolder things.
A few days later we did a zoom call with Mark and discussed the photographs and how it felt to take them. Through this process we were able to bespoke a package just for us, which made us feel even more comfortable, about the process. The engagement photographs were amazing, but we realised then that the engagement shoot, was not just about getting another set of beautiful photographs, it was about learning the process and how we could get the most out of a photoshoot.
On the big day, he was calm, organized, and an absolute joy to be around. He blended in seamlessly, capturing real, candid moments while also guiding us gently when needed. Nothing ever felt forced, the laughter, tears, and love all came through naturally in the photos.
When we received our gallery, we were blown away. Every image told a story. The attention to detail, the emotion, the composition, was all perfect. We’ve looked at them countless times and still get emotional.

"We started the entire process with Mark by going for an engagement shoot, because we were some what nervous, as we had never been photographed by a professional photographer before and the thought of getting it wrong on our wedding day and being stuck with photographs we hated, really concerned us. Those concerns quickly evaporated during the engagement shoot, as we recognised almost immediately how passionate and knowledgeable Mark is, as he continually explained the process to us, in a friendly and relaxed way.
When we went through the enegagement photographs with him, we were absolutely stunned by how great they were and instantly agreed that we wanted go ahead and have him photograph our wedding.
We are absolutely blown away by our wedding photos, as they are everything we dreamed of and more! Every image is bursting with emotion, personality, and the pure joy of the day. From the romantic, intimate moments to the laughter and dancing, our Mark captured it all so perfectly. We honestly can't stop looking through them!
Mark was an absolute joy to be around, so full of energy, fun, and positivity. From the minute he arrived, he lifted everyone’s mood and kept the day running smoothly without ever being intrusive. He was incredibly helpful, whether it was fixing a buttonhole, calming last-minute nerves, or organizing guests for group shots with patience and humor.
He worked wonderfully with all our guests, making everyone feel comfortable and included. So many people mentioned how great he was, approachable, enthusiastic, and always in the right place at the right time. His energy was contagious and made the day feel even more exciting.
And to top it all off, we received our photographs in under two weeks, which completely exceeded our expectations.
The quality, editing, and storytelling in the images are just incredible.

Our engagement shoot was an absolute joy, as we started in South Shields, shot at the Angel Of The North, the quayside and Newcastle city centre, with Mark and my makeup artist. We got along brilliantly and had such a laugh. The engagement photos are amazing and the entire process allowed us to visualise Mark as the perfect photographer for our wedding day.
On our wedding day, Mark was more than just a photographer, he was a calming presence and a quiet support system. When I arrived late to the church, which could have easily caused panic and thrown the schedule off, he remained calm, positive, and completely in control.
